With an exciting lineup of performances scheduled for 2025, we are thrilled to announce that Kaya Ori will be performing at Manchester for the first time! Join us on Saturday, May 25th for a transformative day of healing and connection.

This special event will be part of a series of performances we’re bringing to you throughout the Spring, summer and autumn. We’ll also be marking the occasion with a beautiful Sound Journey and White Despacho ceremony, a sacred offering steeped in the principles of gratitude, reciprocity, and harmony with nature; a beautiful way to honour our connection to Pachamama and each other.

It’s a celebration of life, of love, and of community, and an opportunity to be fully present in the beauty of now as we sing, dance and celebrate together.

🌟WHITE DESPACHO

A despacho is a prayer bundle or offering. For hundreds of years, the Laika (high shamans or wisdom keepers of the Q’ero lineage of Peru) have used the despacho ceremony for a wide variety of occasions – births, deaths, as an expression of gratitude, to heal physical and emotional ailments, to restore balance and harmony, or when there is a specific request of the spirit world.

Humility, gratitude and an open heart are important throughout the ceremony.

We release the idea that we are doing all this alone, the despacho is done as a community. We open up to the possibilities of the universe being on our side, our ally helping us in life.

Through the offerings we place into the despacho, we are directing Great Spirit to all that we would like to manifest. We do this by making an offering to spirit first. With our intention, the symbolic offerings become tangible in the spirit world. Through ayni (reciprocation), the spirits then give back to us in the real world.
